Smith Hot Schroeder Hot Just plain Hot

Hot hot hot! when the Panther Trail Open got under way this past Wednesday, the players found the course to be in great shape despite being in a drought.

The fairways were thick and greens fast. Lindsey Smith and Ron Schroeder tied for first with Lindsey winning the USGA tie-breaker for the trophy.

Both players split 1st and 2nd place money.

Ron shot a 30 on the front nine. "I just ran out of gas Ron said. "I'm trying to get my stamina back after a near fatal car accident, just happy to be able to play golf again."

Lindsey, playing in his first TNT event, said he enjoyed it very much and looking forward to playing again. Both players shot a net 70, 2 under par. Darrell Johntson of Kingwood placed 3rd with a net 71. Thanks to the The Woodlands Staff and Clint Miller for making our event a success.

Our next event is at Wildcat GC in south Houston on July 22nd at 1:00pm. Hope to see you all there.

Meals deleted from single day tournaments

After listening to players concerns for lower entry fees, the TNT staff has come to the conclusion to do away with meals and pass the savings onto the players, starting with the Kingwood Island Open.  Meals may be offered during two-day events.
This is example on how we listen to the concerns of the player and always keep their interest at heart. Keep the ideals coming, we strive to make this the best golf tour going.

Texas Net Golf Tour: A Great Place to Play

Texas Net golf Tour (TNT) is a great place to play tournament golf with big prize money and several optional games to choose from.

TNT is a net handicap tour using the USGA handicap system (with a slight modification). Our directors have many years of experience in running golf tournaments and are looking forward to meeting you and having you play the tour.

We have a same-day payout with an option of receiving your prize money on the same day as the event, or we will mail you your money within three days of the tournament.

If you are currently playing on another Texas tour your handicap will be calculated based on tournament rounds from that tour and you will be grandfathered into our system.

Our website is currently under construction and should be complete in the next week or so. If you should have any questions you can email us at info@tntgolftour.com or call 979-323-4164

Entries open on April 1 for our inaugural events at Kingwood and in East Texas.

More to come ... stay tuned.
