Handicapping

We follow the USGA Handicapping System.

Establishing a Handicap
Players from an established tour that were active on that tour in 2008-09 will be grandfathered into our system. We will use up to your 10 most recent tournament rounds to calculate your handicap and you will be considered an Established Player if you have 10 scores.

New players must submit either 5 recent attested scores or a GHIN or other golf association member number so that we can obtain your recent score history. Five scores will be entered into the handicap system and your handicap will then be calculated.

Once your initial score history has been established only TNT scores will be entered into your history.

The current round does not count in determining player status/round total.

New Players
Players with fewer than 10 rounds in their score history are considered New Players.

Established Players
Players with 10 or more rounds in their score history are considered Established Players.

Exceptional Tournament Scores

  • Any non-established player posting a score of net 3-under par or lower will be subject to a same day recalculation. The score posted for that round will be entered into the handicap system and the player's handicap will be recalculated using that score. The resulting handicap will be the handicap for that day.
  • Any player posting a score of net 6-under or lower, regardless of scores in history, will be subject to a same day recalculation. The score posted for that round will be entered into the handicap system and the player's handicap will be recalculated using that score. The resulting handicap will be the handicap for that day.
  • All handicaps are subject to review/adjustment at the Handicap Committee's discretion.
